3 Days Lake Mburo Safari
Pleasurable 3 days lake Mburo safari, sees you at of Uganda’s hidden wildlife havens, situated between Masaka and Mbarara. The park is the nearest to Kampala with a drive time of approximately three and half to fours. Some of the activities to be carried out will include, game drives in the park, boat cruise on Lake Mburo to view hippos and crocodiles and optionally nature/ community walk around the areas of the park.
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Lake Mburo National park.
You will be picked by our guide from your place of residence/hotel in the morning, and you transfer to Lake Mburo national park through the Kampala Masaka highway. As you advance to Masaka through scenic drive, you will make a few stop overs one possibly being at Mpabire a place for making local drums and another stop being at the Equator to do simple experiments such as the water experiment to determine the south pole and the north pole. Later proceed to Lake Mburo arriving, check in at your lodge, have lunch and relax. Later embark on a community walk visiting the locals and the pastoral communities.
Day 2: Morning game drive and boat cruise and Lake Mburo.
Early morning you will grab a cup of coffee, and drive to the park for a scenic morning game drive, looking out for the zebras the common park occupants of the park, the water bucks, antelopes, topis, impalas, warthogs, buffaloes, giraffes and many more. Later conclude with your scenic morning game drive and return to the lodge for breakfast relaxation and lunch. After lunch you will head for a scenic boat cruise on the lake Mburo viewing crocodiles and hippos. Later drive back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Morning game drive and transfer back to Kampala.
Wake in the morning and head for another game drive in the park to view wildlife and later after the game drive return to your lodge. Later check out of the lodge and transfer to Kampala and possibly to Entebbe airport for your flight back home.
